Free GEO analyser.

GEO, generative engine optimisation, is about being understood by AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Gemini and Google’s AI Overviews. This check reads your page for what makes a business easy for them to describe: a clearly named business, structured data, contact details and pages they are allowed to read.

Entity , Schema , AI crawlers , llms.txt

A full address or just the domain, for example yourshop.example or yourshop.example/contact.

What it checks.

  • Who you are

Organization or LocalBusiness schema with your name, logo and links to your profiles, and the same name on the page.

  • How to reach you

Phone or email links, and an about or contact page.

  • What AI crawlers may read

Whether robots.txt blocks GPTBot, Google-Extended, ClaudeBot or PerplexityBot, and whether you publish an llms.txt file.

  • Answer-shaped content

Question headings with short answers, and dates that show the page is current.

  • An AI reading

When our AI service is switched on, a language model reads the same signals and writes how an assistant would probably describe you. It is labelled as AI, and it can be wrong.

How the score works.

Each section scores its own checks: a pass counts 1, a warning counts half and a fail counts nothing; notes don’t count. The number at the top is the average of the sections, from 0 to 100, and higher is better. The Pakistan checks are notes and are never scored. The AI reading and the AI crawler check are never scored.

Why it matters for a business in Pakistan.

Ask an AI assistant for a tailor in Lahore or a school in Gulberg and it can only suggest businesses it can identify. A page that states your business name, city, phone number and WhatsApp in plain text and in schema gives it something firm to work with.

None of this guarantees a mention. Nobody controls what AI assistants say, and anyone who promises otherwise is guessing. What you can control is whether your page is clear.

Questions about this tool.

What is GEO?

Generative engine optimisation: making your pages easy for AI assistants to read, understand and describe correctly. It builds on SEO basics and adds structured data about your business, consistent names and contact details, and access for AI crawlers.

Can you get my business mentioned by ChatGPT?

Nobody can promise that: AI assistants decide for themselves what to say. This tool checks the parts you control, so that when an assistant reads your page it gets your name, offer and location right.

What is llms.txt?

A plain-text file at /llms.txt that summarises a site for language models. It is a proposal, not an agreed standard, and it isn’t clear which AI tools read it. We list it as a note, never as a fail.

Should I block AI crawlers?

That is your choice. Blocking crawlers such as GPTBot or Google-Extended keeps your pages out of what those companies collect; allowing them keeps your pages readable to them. We report what your robots.txt says and score neither choice.

Is the AI part always on?

Only when our AI service is configured. When it is off, or doesn’t answer, the page says so and shows the checks on their own. We never put made-up text in its place.

What is sent to the AI service?

Only public things from the page you checked: its address, title, headings, structured data types, the check results and up to 3,500 characters of its text. Nothing about you.
