Free AEO analyser.
AEO, answer engine optimisation, is about being the quoted answer: the featured snippet, the “People also ask” box, the line a voice assistant reads out. This check looks for question headings, short answers under them, lists and tables, and FAQ markup that matches what is on the page.

What it checks.
Question headings
H2 to H4 headings written as the questions customers ask, in English or Urdu.
Short answers
A paragraph of 15 to 80 words straight under each question.
Lists and tables
Steps, timings and comparisons set as lists or tables, outside your menus.
Markup
FAQPage, HowTo or QAPage structured data, and whether the marked-up questions appear on the page.
How the score works.
Each section scores its own checks: a pass counts 1, a warning counts half and a fail counts nothing; notes don’t count. The number at the top is the average of the sections, from 0 to 100, and higher is better. The Pakistan checks are notes and are never scored.
Why it matters for a business in Pakistan.
Customers here ask practical questions: Do you deliver to Multan? Is cash on delivery available? What are your timings in Ramazan? A page that asks and answers them in its own headings is easier to quote, and it saves you typing the same reply on WhatsApp again and again.
Write the answer first, in one or two sentences, then the detail. That is the part answer boxes lift, and it is what a busy customer reads.
Questions about this tool.
What is AEO?
Answer engine optimisation: writing and marking up pages so search engines and assistants can lift a direct answer from them. It overlaps with SEO and GEO; the difference is the focus on question-and-answer shape.
Does FAQ markup still get rich results?
Since August 2023 Google shows FAQ rich results only for well-known government and health websites. The markup still labels which text is a question and which is its answer, so we report it as a note and check that the questions are visible on the page.
How long should an answer be?
We count a paragraph of 15 to 80 words straight after a question heading as a short answer. That is our working rule, not a Google requirement: long enough to answer, short enough to quote.
Do question headings work in Urdu?
Yes. We recognise headings that end with a question mark (? or ؟) or start with words such as کیا، کیسے، کیوں، کب، کہاں and کون, as well as their English equivalents.
Will this get me into the featured snippet?
Nobody can promise that. Google picks the snippet for each search. These checks make your page easier to quote; they don’t choose for Google.
